You were Stan’s nephews and nieces and although you have many of your own, and now some of them do too, Stan spoke of you in genuinely glowing terms for the incredible lives you’ve lived…How could there not be a tribute? In no particular order (okay, by age 🙂 Gary, Sari, Jesse, Loren and Annie.

Gary has had a remarkable career anyway you look at it.  By 40, he was President and CEO of NYCE Payments Network, later Senior VP of Electronic Commerce at J.P. Morgan Chase and on an on. But moreover, just a smart, warm and wonderful guy.  With tongue in cheek, ‘The Bored Room’ for our Chairman of the Board.

Sari, Managing Director, Hudson Chesapeake Ltd, and Yale University School of Management, touched Stan in many ways from her sharp mind to her warm heart to her forays into music, taking singing lessons and exploring music in later life 🙂   For Sari, inspiration with Jazz Singer Extraordinaire.

Jesse, continues to round out the amazing, accomplished family of brother and sister’s kids.  Jesse was President of one of the largest law firms in Delaware, besides writing many publications and recognitions too numerous to mention. Like many of the family, quite unpretentious.  After this distinguished career, he got deeply into Blues music and recognized by national and international blues musicians for his financial and structural support.  He started Blues Radio International (http://www.bluesradiointernational.net ) and hosts many hours with, as Stan marveled, “a warm, deep, rich, voice.”  His intellect and achievements astounded him. For Jes, The Guitar Man solos

Jesse’s brother Loren touched Stan in so many ways.  Maybe he was the most like him in temperament and humor.  I don’t know; but that’s my feeling.  Loren, quietly graduated from Brandeis with a degree in Philosophy (like Stan’s sister, Rona –just  too much to say about her right now) and then a graduate degree in Journalism and Communications at BU.  Unfortunately, he had to use his writing skills to compose a beautiful and moving tribute to his daughter Ariel for a book published after she died fighting a long battle with substance abuse.  Her story, his eloquent tribute, he honored his uncle Stan by using his illustrations to highlight various chapters .  For Loren, The WWE 🙂 and never loosing the beat

Annie, shared Stan’s love of music and he was so proud of her success. As a composer, Annie wrote many hit tunes.  And you know them! 🙂 Among them, “There Goes My Baby, sung by Trisha Yearwood and “This Kiss”, sung by Faith Hill.  She won the prestigious ASCAP Country Music Award 11 times!

She, like most, was not an overnight success. But she persevered. And when she made it, did she ever!….For Annie, putting it all together
