Perspective

Art and Music may have been Stan’s focus, but it wasn’t everything.  He had an interesting perspective on life in general.  Growing up, he used to remind me whenever I got angry with someone, “No man is a bastard to himself”, which didn’t help when I was that blistering mad.  But, right he was.  “People just want to belong, to be respected, to be liked”, he would also say.  Of course, his kindness won out, along with an often silly sense of humor…If his work exuded joy, how could he not? 🙂
